Ronnie was on my mind during the reunion for some reason. I had heard he had a lot of children. He must have had a warm and rich life with that many people to love and be an influence on. He will be missed by many people.

Ronnie's death has had a profound impact on my life. Like with Phillip Long and a few others there is a story between Ronnie and me. I have told part of it, but not all. The part I haven't told will remain untold, but I will say without reservation that Ronnie was one of the finest men I ever knew. I had not talked to him in 25 years. I regret that because I owed him an apology for something that happened a long time ago. I always thought I would have a chance to someday say I was sorry. I waited too long.
