Patricia “Patsy” Marie Urbanovsky passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 66 years on Monday, April 16, 2018, at 10 AM at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. 

Patsy was a elementary school teacher in both Amarillo and Lubbock. She loved watching kids succeed. Amarillo is where she meet her soulmate Joe. She taught up until she married the love of her life Joseph Urbanovsky in their home on August 15th, 1980 in Lubbock TX. They loved each other so deeply, Joe stood by her side no matter what. He took such amazing care of Patsy. Even in her worst times she was always worried about Joe and taking care of him. They had a love others can only dream about. Together they shared nearly 42 years of life with each other. She spent several years helping Joe run several in home businesses, including Fiesta Park Self Storage, Homes and Land, and Urban Rentals.

She was such a sensitive, loving and caring person. She never meet a stranger and made truly lifelong friends. She was the definition of a true friend. 

Together they had two amazing children who they prayed for years to have. They were blessed with Julie Marie November 26th 1984 and then blessed by John Joseph July 2nd 1986. Her children were her pride and joy! She would do anything for them. Patsy was put on earth to be a mother, and she was the best mother around! She was a mother to so many people. And so very proud of the adults her kids became. She truly loved to love! Later Pasty would become a Grammy to her beloved Lily Marie (her namesake and best friend) and her little wild man Grayson Cruz (her cough drop loving redhead) They made her so happy and the love they shared is unlike any love out there. Being a Grammy completed her and made her life whole.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Judy Neslage, and two brothers, John Neslage and Terry Neslage.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Joe; daughter, Julie Urbanovsky Guzman; son, John Urbanovsky; grandchildren, Lillian Marie Guzman and Grayson Guzman; and siblings, Fred Neslage, Jr., Robert Neslage, Bill Neslage, Tim Neslage, Tom Neslage, Marion Gerome, and Jean Wright.
