When I think about Mike I remember a true friend, he fought a very hard battle in life and he did it heroicaly.
Mike, and I think all his siblings, cousins and uncles, use to come out to the ranch on weekends and summertime
and we played Cowboys and Indians, Good guys and bad,
all over the house pasture! I miss those great days,
and I know he is up in the wild blue yonder, telling stories about all us still here on the ground. Wouldn't it be wonderful if every one new when they were still here how much we all cared deep down for all our classmates.

Mike, my friend I miss you. You died way too young but we knew it would happen with the diabetes. In spite of it all you had a good attitude and made the most of every day you had. Love you always!

I remember Mike in high school as such a good kid. I never knew he had diabetes until after graduation and my mother told me (she worked with his sister). I always thought Mike was special and now I know even God thought he was too.
