I always envied Bill because of two things.
1. He could use a slide rule. (How did I miss that?)
2. Playing flute, he got to sit among the girls in band.
A really quiet guy who was really bright. I wish I had made the effort to get to know him.

Jann Cawthon (Webb)
I couldn't find anything on Bill, but perhaps a sister Ruth Ann, born in Pampa in 1955. Her father's name was William Jefferson Felter.
