Carey was my first boyfriend, in 1st grade! I still remember what his house looked like because it had a round window on the front - very unusual back then. I was sad to see his obituary when I opened that link the other day.
Can't forget Carey. Loved his smile and wrote his name down on my notebook paper several times in 5th and 6th grade at Sam Houston grade school. I think we played baseball together also during our recreation breaks when weather was permitting. Nice guy.

Carey was the best SHORT elementary and junior high school basketball player I knew. Then we ended up in junior high band together. He played tuba.I lost track of him when they moved to Borger during our junior high years. I recently learned that my youngest brother worked with him at Frank's.
