from Claudia's profile when she joined this website:

"I lived on Browning street & went to elementary at Woodrow Wilson.  We rode gazillions of miles on our bikes in the loop going to the Country Club.  It was a dirt road back then with the GREATEST hill for coasting!  Friday night parties, Hep Cat dances, youth center dances, dances!!! John Carr running for Student Council president with the Volkswagon in the hall & the end of his speech when he had a recording of the "john" flushing & pulled his glasses crooked over his eyes, saying, "Everybody needs a "john"! LOL  Also First Baptist youth choir on Sunday nights.
