Home, sweet home, note the trails..They use donkeys to haul water up to the houses, sometimes making 6 trips a day. The kids are who I saw doing this, they tied as many 5 gal.water cans on
as possible, climbed on top ,and took off on a trip that may be 3-5 miles round trip.

This Little boy, about 7 yrs. old, was driving the families cattle down the highway, this cow was slow because of her calf, but he had 6 head all in all, they were a rich family.

This is a street cornerin Monte Cristo, the hammocks hanging are all hand made by locals, even the wearving of the cloth.

Monte Cristo is where the original Panama Hats are made, the boy told me his grandfather, sitting on the porch, had made all the hats you see hanging, after they hang for a while they will be trimmed and formed into many styles. I love the one I got.
